Reference librarians, who have both JDs and graduate degrees in information science, are available to assist students in locating sources, using databases, developing research strategies, and finding a wide variety of information. Students may reach a reference librarian by visiting the Library, submitting a request online, or by contacting any of the library faculty directly.
Research guides are designed to help students learn about sources or navigate research on a particular topic. Our law librarians maintain our guides at http://libguides.law.loyno.edu/. Current topics cover everything from legal citation to using treatises to maritime law.
