Reference librarians, who have both JDs and graduate degrees in information science, are available to assist students in locating sources, using databases, developing research strategies, and finding a wide variety of information. Students may reach a reference librarian by visiting the library reference desk (on the second floor), when it is staffed, or by contacting any of the librarians directly.
Research guides are designed to help students learn about sources or navigate research on a particular topic. Our law librarians maintain our guides at http://libguides.law.loyno.edu/. Current topics cover everything from legal citation to using treatises to maritime law.
